Whether for just a day or two, or longer, we present to you the keys of the Château. Full privatisation of the expansive and elegant estate, gardens and grounds grants you and your team the independence and freedom to follow your artistic vision and spirit however you may be inspired.
We offer a made to measure service in which we work closely with you and your team to ensure that your creative vision is expressed in all aspects of how the Château is readied and dressed for your shoot. So that we are able to assure you that when you arrive the final process of setting up equipment and beginning your shoot becomes as seamless as possible.
Our thoughtful and attentive team will consider each and every detail to ensure that your photoshoot is fully prepared for and organised in advance of your arrival so that you are able to make the most of your time with us.
the château salons
The inside of the Château, although still undergoing restoration, features the elegant opulence of the 18th century juxtaposed with the gracefulness of age and patina. For photography and film shoots the Château presents its most prestigious salons. If only the walls could speak…
Grand salons fitted with original 18th century, marble fireplaces, French furnishings and embellished chandeliers are filled with a romantic golden light and can be set at your request for various inspiring occasions, that fit with your artistic direction, or can be left relaxed and natural for you to style as you wish when you arrive.

the château bedrooms
Upon your arrival the bedrooms at the Château are dressed in freshly cut flowers from the gardens and richly perfumed Trudon candles adorn the fireplaces. The beds are draped in antique monogrammed linens, ruffle trim pillowcases and floral sheets. Old wares and antique furnishings decorate the room…

dressing room & bathrooms
The Château Bathrooms have been renovated in true 18th Century fashion - with elegant fittings and fixtures, delicate floral wallpaper adorning the walls and sumptuously textured towels that add the perfect finishing touch.
There are three shared bathrooms at the Château each with a shower, toilet and sink. One of these bathrooms also has a bath. In addition to these shared bathrooms there are a further two separate powder rooms, one on the ground floor and another on the first floor.
The spacious dressing room is fully equipped with power outlets, mirrors and delicate lighting. The perfect setting for capturing your behind the scenes moments.
PRACTICAL CONSIDERATIONS
Location & Transport
Château de Gudanes is nestled in a little, croissant shaped village set amongst the mountains of the Pyrenees. The closest city to our location is Toulouse, which is about 1 hour 15 minutes drive away. Toulouse is a large city that is easily accessible by train from most locations in France, as well as Spain. The city also has a large, international airport that many airlines fly directly into from around the world. From Toulouse we would recommend driving to the Château.

Accomodation
Should you wish to organise your accomodation with us the Château Team would be delighted to welcome you to stay. We are able to receive up to 16 guests (double occupancy) in 8 beautifully appointed French furnished bedrooms.
Alternatively, we would recommend the following locations for comfortable accomodation close-by:
Maison Beaucoup: a charming bed and breakfast in what was once upon a time the Château’s original presbytery. Located within our local village of Les Cabannes it is within five minute walking distance of the Château. Beaucoup offers a small number of elegantly renovated bedrooms and suites with a modern touch. Pricing includes a traditional, French breakfast spread including a seasonal selection of their very own home-made jams. Dinner is also available most evenings if booked in advance.
Les Granges de Leo: offers a number of traditional, French ski chalets with modern amenities. Les Granges de Leo is located in the village of Aston, a few minutes drive from the Château. Breakfast is available upon request.
Le Manoir d’Agnes: a modern hotel offering simple yet comfortable accomodation ten minutes drive from the Château. They have a restaurant onsite that serves delicious, seasonally inspired meals.
Les Gites de Beille: offers up to 55 well priced gîtes available for rental for between 4 and 8 guests. Les Gîtes de Beille is located at the bottom of the hill just below the Château and so is within easy walking distance.
Planning Assistance
Upon finalising your booking we shall then provide a dossier with further information which we hope shall assist your team with making travel arrangements and in preparing for their time with us.*
This dossier shall include the following:
Toulouse Information Document sharing more about your options to travel to and from Toulouse,
A Château de Gudanes Information document sharing our contact details, further details about our team members who will be onside to assist you and more about the facilities at the Château and in our local village,
A Recommended Packing List to share with your team members,
A Confidentiality & Indemnity Agreement that each team member visiting the Château must sign to be sent back to us in advance of your arrival.
*Please kindly note that we are most happy to discuss the details outlined in these documents in advance of making your booking. Sharing this information in dossier form is simply to assist your team in preparing for their arrival and making the process as seamless for you as possible.
THE FINER DETAILS
Full privatisation for photography & film shoots includes:
Arrival orientation with the Château de Gudanes Team who will be available throughout your time with us to assist with anything you may need,
Exclusive use of the Château’s interior salons and bedrooms,
Exclusive and full use of the Château’s grounds including gardens, tennis court and pool,
Full use of the Château’s furniture and fittings, décor and styling materials. We just kindly ask if you wouldn’t mind returning these items to their original places before you depart. If you require any specific furniture, décor or styling elements for your shoot please kindly just ask in advance so that we are able to let you know what items we have onsite available for you,
Fully equipped wifi access,
Salon for your belongings and equipment prepared with hanging racks, steamer, extension cords and other technical items you may need,
Use of the Château Dressing Room,
Tea and coffee station, also presented with a selection of French biscuits and seasonal fruits, for your team to enjoy at their leisure,
Complimentary fully stocked bar salon filled with a soda stream and various refreshing, no alcohol beverages including Château and locally made floral and fruit cordials. Soda stream also available.
Our made to measure amenities include*:
Styling of the Château to your preferences,
Floral compositions,
Cuisine catered as per your requests to the tastes and dietary requirements of your team members. Our international and local team of chefs de cuisine and pastry chefs prepare seasonally curated menus using fresh produce that is lovingly nurtured and grown on the estate, or if not by local growers.
*As the above items are made to measure amenities, please kindly note that should you have simpler requests the pricing of these will be included in our starting rates. However, should your wishes be a little grander there may be an additional price for the amenities listed above.

Return transport for your team to and from Toulouse,

Please also note that the pricing further excludes you teams’ transport from your location to and from Toulouse, work and personal insurance for your team members (if required) and company insurance. Thank you kindly for your understanding.

Price: Full day location fee pricing available upon request.
Please kindly note that we do not offer hourly rates or rates for use of a single salon.

PAYMENT & INSURANCE
We require a 50% deposit made by direct transfer through Wise (formerly Transferwise) at the time of booking. This amount will be charged in Euros and the exact currency conversion will be calculated based on the rates provided by Wise. The remaining payment will be due on an agreed upon date before your arrival.
All amounts paid are non- refundable and we kindly ask that you request any refunds through your insurance. We sincerely appreciate your understanding.
