The Château reveals its past serendipitously, with many discoveries stumbled upon quite by chance, drawing us ever closer to unravelling and untangling the memories dwelling within its silence.

From hand-painted renaissance frescoes and beams, bits and pieces of ancient venetian glassware and old ceramics and pottery, animal bones, a tunnel leading deep below ground to wax seals from the French Revolution still to be found on centuries-old walnut doors and 18th century painted walls below later layers of wooden panelling.
