Erica & Edmund’s Wedding

2 Nights

Erica and Edmund’s winter wedding transformed Château de Gudanes into a world of candlelight, firelight and quiet enchantment. Their ceremony took place upon the château’s grand staircase, illuminated by candles. Erica made her entrance from above, descending the historic staircase to meet Edmund waiting at its foot - an intimate moment framed by the timeworn beauty of the château.

Following the ceremony, guests gathered in the original medieval kitchen and upon its adjoining terrace overlooking the Pyrenees. Medieval-inspired canapés paid homage to the château’s earliest history, served against the warmth of ancient stone and the sweeping winter landscape beyond.

As evening fell, dinner awaited within a winter forest of twinkling lights - an ethereal setting created especially for the occasion. A beautiful presentation of desserts and the wedding cake followed before everyone ventured outside once more, where fireworks illuminated the night sky.

The evening ended with music, dancing and revelry late into the night. Romantic, atmospheric and entirely their own, Erica and Edmund’s wedding was a celebration of winter at Gudanes - where darkness invited candlelight, history inspired imagination, and each part of the château became a new chapter in the evening.
