Rebecca & Ken’s Wedding

Rebecca and Ken’s wedding celebrated the romance and abundance of springtime at Château de Gudanes - a day of flowers, music, beautiful food and traditions both old and new.

As Rebecca and Ken prepared for the day within their respective château suites, accompanied by afternoon tea and sparkling, their guests were invited to create their own personalised corsages, choosing flowers and small botanical details to wear for the celebration ahead. Once ready, Rebecca and Ken met privately in the Petit Vestibule for their first look, before departing the château together for the nearby village church.

There, surrounded by family and friends, they were married in a traditional Catholic ceremony accompanied by the beautiful sounds of a string quartet. Upon returning to Gudanes, the celebrations continued with canapés served between the Salon de Rose and Salon de Musique, where a jazz pianist played as guests wandered between the rooms.

As evening approached, everyone gathered in the Salon de Printemps for a formal dinner, before moving to the Salle à Manger for a final celebration of the season. Tables were filled with an abundant presentation of desserts, each inspired by a different fruit or flower of spring - a joyful and unexpected finale to a day that moved from quiet, intimate moments to music-filled salons and tables gathered together in celebration.

Rebecca and Ken’s wedding was a beautiful expression of spring at Gudanes: romantic yet refined, quiet yet celebratory and steeped in tradition while remaining entirely personal to them.
